Job Description:
Nissan of Sacramento is seeking a motivated and experienced Automotive Service Manager to lead our service department. In this role, you will oversee daily operations, drive customer satisfaction, and ensure the profitability and efficiency of the department. Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the service department, including staff management, customer relations, and workflow optimization.
- Recruit, train, and mentor service advisors and technicians to maintain a high-performing team.
- Ensure timely and high-quality completion of all repair and maintenance work.
- Drive customer satisfaction by handling inquiries, resolving complaints, and maintaining excellent communication.
- Monitor department performance metrics and implement strategies to achieve revenue and profitability goals.
- Collaborate with other dealership departments to enhance operational efficiency.
- Enforce safety standards, compliance with regulations, and adherence to Nissan policies.
- Stay current with automotive technology, warranty processes, and industry trends.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Automotive Service Manager or similar leadership role in the automotive industry.
- In-depth knowledge of automotive systems, repairs, and service operations.
- Exceptional leadership, coaching, and team-building skills.
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to manage a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in dealership management software (DMS) and other relevant tools.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate’s or bachelor’s degree is a plus.
