Automotive Dealership General Manager
Wise Automotive is seeking an experienced Automotive General Manager to join our dynamic team. As the General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our automotive business, ensuring smooth operations and maximum profitability.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business objectives
- Oversee and manage all departments, including sales, service, and finance
- Set and monitor sales targets for the dealership and individual team members
- Create and maintain effective relationships with customers and vendors
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify business growth opportunities
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching and mentoring support to staff
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a General Manager within the automotive industry of 3 or more years
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Extensive knowledge of automotive sales and service operations
- Ability to analyze financial statements and make data-driven decisions
- Expertise in customer relationship management systems

This position is based in a motor vehicle dealership environment. Occasional physical activity such as reaching below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, squatting, and stooping to inspect repairs, and lifting and able to carry objects at least 50 pounds. Exposure to fumes, chemicals, dust, vehicle exhaust, along with high levels of noise is expected on a daily basis. You may be subjected to weather conditions both inside and outside. You may be required to wear protective equipment when necessary. Occasional sedentary work is expected. Must have visual acuity to determine the accuracy and thoroughness of the work assigned.
