Position: Parts and Accessories Department Manager
Do you have a passion for motorcycles and a keen understanding of parts and accessories? Harley-Davidson of Yuba City is looking for an experienced and motivated Parts and Accessories Department Manager to oversee the daily operations of our parts and accessories department. In this role, you'll manage inventory, lead a team, and ensure our customers have an exceptional experience when purchasing the parts and accessories they need to personalize and maintain their motorcycles.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in retail management, with a focus on parts and accessories, automotive, or powersports industries.
- Strong knowledge of motorcycle parts and accessories, especially Harley-Davidson products.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to train and motivate a team to achieve goals.
- Strong organizational and inventory management abilities, ensuring that stock levels are maintained and that orders are processed efficiently.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-first mindset and a dedication to delivering top-notch service.
- Ability to analyze sales data, track performance, and implement strategies to drive sales growth.
- Positive, energetic attitude with a passion for motorcycles and the Harley-Davidson brand.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Must be able to pass a background check and be eligible for insurance.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead the Parts and Accessories team, ensuring exceptional customer service and the efficient operation of the department.
- Manage inventory, ensuring the availability of in-demand parts and accessories while minimizing overstock.
- Train, mentor, and motivate the team to achieve monthly sales targets and deliver exceptional service to customers.
- Work closely with customers to identify their needs and recommend parts, accessories, and upgrades that enhance their motorcycle ownership experience.
- Develop and implement sales strategies, promotional campaigns, and events to drive department growth.
- Collaborate with the Service and Sales departments to coordinate parts and accessories needs for customers.
- Maintain accurate records of parts orders, inventory levels, and sales transactions.
- Ensure the department meets or exceeds customer satisfaction expectations through efficient service and product knowledge.
