Basic Scope and Responsibilities: Customer Service oriented position that focuses on building long term relationships with customers by providing exceptional customer service to each customer at every encounter.

Basic Scope and Responsibilities: Customer Service oriented position that focuses on building long term relationships with customers by providing exceptional customer service to each customer at every encounter.
Essential Job Functions:
- Assist Service Department management in maintaining a smooth running, efficient service department with “Exceptional Customer Satisfaction”.
- Efficiently wash and detail customer motorcycles after service work has been completed.
- Ensuring that proper forms have signatures at time of vehicle intake. Ensuring that vehicle damage has been noted at write up and correct information has been recorded when picking up motorcycles.
- Greets all customers in a prompt and friendly manner at all touch points.
- Assisting with staging of customer and Dealership motorcycles.
- Pickup and delivery of Motorcycles and / or parts to customers homes or other dealerships in a professional manner.
- Maintaining the positive team atmosphere in the Service Department.
- Assist with event setup and tear down.
- Everyday clean up of service bays, vehicle storage areas and other dealership spaces as required.
- Unloading / loading of motorcycles and parts from various trucks and trailers using a forklift or ramp.
- Assist with snow removal as needed.
- Self-starting and able to determine the task of next highest priority to complete.
- Other tasks as directed.
Non-Essential Job Functions:
- Work with technicians to assist with removal of parts from bays and appropriate time to clean bays.
- Monitor waste oil container, tire disposal area and cleaning consumables to schedule appropriate pickup or resupply.
- Gain the trust and confidence of new customers when they are introduced to the Service Department.
Education Required:
- High school diploma or GED at minimum.
Training, Skills, Knowledge and/or Experience
- Communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to get along with broad customer base.
- Ability to work as a member of a team.
- Ability to stay focused with tasks with minimal supervision.
- Current drivers license with motorcycle endorsement. Driving record acceptable to our insurance carrier.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to operate two wheeled vehicle at GVWR of 1360LBS. in shop and on public roads as needed.
- Ability to bend, kneel and crouch to inspect various parts of motorcycle on a daily basis.
- Lift up to 45 lbs. without assistance.
Supervisory Responsibility:
- No Supervisory Responsibilities.
Organizational Structure:
- This position reports directly to the Service Manager and Assistant Service Manager.
- This position reports indirectly to the General Manager and Sales Manager.
Working Conditions:
The Service Department at Reno Harley Davidson is campus style. It is located inside two separate buildings approximately 60 feet apart. Regular trips between the two buildings are required, with exposure to outdoor conditions on a regular basis.Adverse Working Conditions:
