Job Overview:
Reno Harley-Davidson is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance & Insurance Manager to join our team. The F&I Manager plays a critical role in the dealership by providing customers with financing options, protecting their investments through insurance products, and ensuring a seamless and transparent transaction process. Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Customer Service:
- Present financing options, warranty plans, and additional products to customers in a transparent and ethical manner.
- Educate customers on the benefits of extended warranties, gap insurance, and other protection products.
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by delivering a professional, engaging, and efficient buying experience.
Finance & Compliance:
- Secure financing options for customers by working with multiple lending institutions.
- Review credit applications and negotiate with lenders to obtain competitive terms.
- Ensure all financing and legal paperwork is accurate, complete, and in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Maintain detailed knowledge of financing programs, interest rates, and lending options available.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with the sales team to coordinate deals and maximize profit while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the General Sales Manager and Sales Manager to meet dealership goals.
- Train and coach the sales team on the benefits and sales techniques for F&I products.
Administrative Tasks:
- Process funding requests and monitor the timely completion of lender payouts.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all transactions and deals.
- Prepare and analyze F&I performance reports, identifying areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
- 2+ years of experience as an F&I Manager or similar role in the automotive or powersports industry.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales and profitability goals.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of finance and insurance products, credit applications, and lending practices.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized with attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in dealership management systems (DMS) and F&I software.
Compliance Knowledge:
- Thorough understanding of state and federal laws regarding finance and insurance transactions.
- Commitment to maintaining the highest levels of integrity and compliance.
