We are looking for an automotive enthusiast to join our growing service team. The role of porter is responsible for washing, moving, and delivering vehicles.  Our lot porters will also be responsible for assisting technicians.

  • Maintain new- and used- vehicle inventory appearance and performance by cleaning interior and exterior of vehicles, replenishing all vehicle fluids as needed, and replacing batteries when necessary.
  • Clean, wax, polish, refurbish and detail vehicles that were collision damaged, as well as old and new vehicles.
  • Inspect finished products to ensure the highest quality service.
  • Understand and deliver on specific customer requirements.
  • Maintain proper function of all service tools and equipment.
  • Directly report any damage to the supervising manager in a clear and timely fashion.
  • Place buyer guides and stock tags in vehicles.
  • Keep new- and used-vehicle lots neat and orderly, moving cars as directed by the general manager and in accordance with dealership display standards.
  • Clean driveway and sidewalks.
  • Drive vehicles to and from service lane, service stalls, and parking lot as needed.
  • Make key tags for vehicles.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid CA drivers license and a good driving record.
  • Able to work outdoors in all types of weather
  • Capable of working and stand on your feet for extended periods of time
  • Flexible schedule and able to work on Saturdays
  • Interested in a fast-paced environment
  • Communicate with staff and customers in a courteous manner
