Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our dynamic team at Vallejo Nissan. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering superior service, possess excellent communication skills, and be prepared to go above and beyond to ensure both team and guest satisfaction. This role is pivotal in maintaining our high standards of service and enhancing the overall customer experience.

This position is hourly plus commission and typically pays within the 65k-100k+ range!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Interaction: Greet and assist customers in a professional and friendly manner, addressing their service needs and concerns promptly.
  • Service Recommendations: Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and provide detailed explanations of required or recommended services to customers.
  • Appointment Scheduling: Manage service appointments, ensuring efficient scheduling and timely completion of services.
  • Communication: Serve as the main point of contact between the customer and the service department, keeping customers informed about the status of their vehicle and any additional findings.
  • Follow-Up: Conduct follow-up communications to ensure customer satisfaction and address any additional questions or concerns.
  • Documentation: Accurately document service details, including customer requests, recommended services, and completed work.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with technicians, parts department, and management to ensure seamless service delivery and resolve any issues promptly.
  • Sales and Upselling: Identify and recommend additional services or products that may benefit the customer while maintaining a focus on their needs and priorities.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Prior experience in a service advisor role or similar customer-facing position is highly preferred.
  • Motivation: Demonstrated ability to stay motivated and driven to meet and exceed service goals.
  • Availability: Flexible and open availability to accommodate various shifts, including weekends if necessary.
  • Guest Satisfaction: Strong commitment to delivering outstanding guest satisfaction and exceeding customer expectations.
  • Team-Oriented: Willingness to go above and beyond for both the team and the guest, contributing positively to a collaborative work environment.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly and effectively.
