Job Title: Automotive Parts Counter Associate

Job Description:

Vallejo CDJR is seeking an enthusiastic and customer-oriented individual to join our team as an Automotive Parts Counter Associate. As an integral part of our dealership, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and assisting customers with their automotive parts needs.

Responsibilities:

1. Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
2. Assist customers in identifying and locating the correct automotive parts for their vehicles.
3. Answer customer inquiries regarding pricing, availability, and compatibility of parts.
4. Process parts orders accurately and efficiently using our dealership's computer system.
5. Maintain a clean and organized parts counter and storage area.
6. Collaborate with the service department to ensure timely fulfillment of parts orders for vehicle repairs.
7. Handle cash and credit card transactions for parts purchases.
8. Provide assistance and support to other dealership departments as needed.
9. Stay updated on new products, promotions, and industry trends.

Qualifications:

1. Previous experience in automotive parts sales or a related field preferred.
2. Excellent customer service and communication skills.
3. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
4. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
5. Proficiency with computer systems and basic math skills.
6. Knowledge of automotive parts and their functions is a plus.
7. Must be able to lift and carry heavy items.
