Service Advisor – Automotive Dealership
Location: Solano County, California
Employment Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $36,000 - $150,000 annually (base pay plus commissions, bonuses, and incentives, depending on experience, performance, and dealership compensation plans)

We are seeking a motivated, customer-focused Service Advisor to serve as the primary liaison between our customers and our service department. The ideal candidate is professional, organized, sales-minded, and committed to delivering an exceptional customer experience while helping clients maintain their vehicles safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Greet customers promptly and professionally.
Listen to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle issues.
Recommend maintenance and repair services based on manufacturer guidelines and vehicle inspections.
Prepare estimates and obtain customer authorization for repairs.
Communicate repair progress and completion timelines.
Coordinate with technicians and parts departments to ensure efficient workflow.
Review completed repairs and invoices with customers.
Maintain CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) goals and dealership performance standards.
Follow all dealership, manufacturer, and safety procedures.
Build long-term customer relationships through outstanding service and follow-up.
Qualifications
Previous automotive service advisor, customer service, or sales experience preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Basic computer proficiency and experience with dealership management systems is a plus.
Valid driver's license and insurable driving record.
High school diploma or equivalent required.

Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the dealership for extended periods.
Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
Ability to work in an environment with varying temperatures and moderate noise levels.
